Frequently asked questions

Will a ZIP code or phone number that starts with 0 keep its leading zero?

Yes — opening a CSV directly in Excel usually turns "01234" into "1234", but this tool recognizes values that start with 0 and stores them as text, keeping the original digits exactly as they were.

What about long account numbers turning into E+15 notation?

They're kept as text too, so a long ID or tracking number is preserved digit-for-digit instead of being rounded into exponential notation.

Does my file really never get sent to a server?
