Does this catch non-breaking spaces copied from a web page?

Yes — along with a regular space, it detects non-breaking spaces and other Unicode whitespace characters and cleans them up according to the options you choose.

Will cells containing numbers or dates be affected?

No. Cleanup only applies to cells stored as text. Cells that are genuinely numbers or dates keep their original type and value untouched.

Does my file really never get sent to a server?
